1-1/2 ounce whiskey
1/2 ounce Aperol
1/2 ounce blood orange juice*
½ ounce sweet vermouth
Garnish: Blood orange* peel expressed (squeezed over top) and dropped in
Garnish: Luxardo Cherry
Add the ingredients into a mixing glass, fill up halfway with ice, stir for 15 seconds, and strain into glass. Squeeze the blood orange peel over top of the drink and drop in. Use a barspoon to add a cherry and residual syrup overtop of the drink. Enjoy.
*regular orange juice/peel can be substituted if no blood orange can be found
